Science Birthday parties are all the rage. They are exciting, fun, and different. Here’s what to expect with our children’s science birthday parties. We’re not a just a science show, we get children busy making cool creations and bubbly reactions to take home, read on to find out more and watch the video.
So, what are our unique science parties all about? What happens and what can you expect? Take a look:
Before the party
First complete this form to check the your preferred date is available, and let us know your preferred science entertainment theme and other details you’d like. Choose one of the themes for your science party from our website….will it be Crazy Chemistry, slime, magical potions for a Harry Potter fan?

Once we have some key details about your birthday party, we will then send you a quote which explains the activities, the price, and also how to pay the deposit to secure your date.
When your deposit has been paid, your party is confirmed and we will also email you our science party invitations that you can use.
We like to phone you the week before to get final numbers of guests and check on any queries you may have. By the way – you only pay for the guests who are confirmed and we send you an invoice the week before. Full payment is due on or before the day of the party.
Remeber, we bring our entertainment to you, so you still book a venue, sort the food, and invite the guests, and we’ll keep them busy on the day!
On the big day
We’ll arrive at your venue about 30 minutes before the party start time, in order to set up our area plus the young scientists’ activities tables. Your venue can be your home (kitchen, conservatory or lounge!), garden or a venue you have hired.
As the guests arrive for the very special birthday party, they put on little lab coats ready for the show to begin (Crazy Chemistry theme) or perhaps they’ve come dressed up as their favourite wizard (Magical Potions theme). The young scientists first watch our science birthday party leaders create amazing colour changing reactions, exploding foam & the coke fountain that can go as high as the house (- we do this one outside!!) depending on the package you have booked. The birthday child can help with the show if they wish to make them feel extra-special.
Now the guests are ready to become real scientists creating their own erupting potions, exploding bath bombs, bubbling lava lamps & sticky-icky-goo, which they take home as their party bags, so they can continue to play with them after the party has finished, creating long-lasting memories of a very special birthday.
When the entertainment is over – we have a big finale experiment – we give the birthday child a card and little gift from us, and say “Goodbye” to everyone. The youngsters are then handed over to you for food and cake time. We tidy up any mess, clean surfaces and take our rubbish away with us.
How long is a party?
Our party entertainment lasts from 60 -90 minutes – you choose what suits you! Most people have 1 hour so there is time available for your own traditional party games and party food.

Depending on the theme you choose (Crazy Chemistry, Slime, Sparkle Science or Magical Potions) children will take home items they’ve made, but each them includes at least three items to take home e.g. lava lamps, slime, bath bombs. You can also order extra party favours too – such as sweets, or our sustainable individually boxed mini science kits for the science fun to continue at home.
How much?
Prices start at just £180 which includes 1 hour science birthday party entertainment for 15 children (you can have more!) & the party bags. There are optional extras such as a longer duration of entertainment, sweets, and extra party favours, these will add costs on.
We offer a lower rate for very small gatherings in Barnstaple (where we are based), so please get in toouch if you’re planning 5010 kids.
We add mileage for parties outside of North Devon area, currently at 50ppm.
