Our science shows
1) Chemistry Lab Adventures Science Show
Bring the intriguing world of chemistry to life with our latest interactive science assembly show. An educational and exciting presentation which includes plenty of audience participation and highlights chemistry in everyday life.
Pupils learn about states of matter through various experiments and discover that not everything can be categorised as a gas, liquid or solid. We’ll conjure up oxygen and carbon dioxide to unearth fascinating facts about natural gasses.
Students find out what a chemical reaction actually is and how to spot one. We’ll draw attention to reversible and irreversible changes through demonstrations too. Brace yourself for exothermic & endothermic reactions featuring the Elephant’s Toothpaste. We’ll inflate balloons with CO2 and create a beautiful pH rainbow.
Safety is priority, so we’ll emphasise the importance of following instructions as we hold fire in our hands, demonstrating responsible scientific exploration.

2) Force Frontiers Science Show
In this science show we use zany, interactive demo’s to inspire pupils in the field of physics, and is perfect alongside our forces workshops, e.g. air powered cars or rocket sessions.
We first introduce Sir Isaac Newton and waste no time in diving straight into a whirlwind of excitement with fun activities to bring Newton’s 3 laws of motion to life.
Hold on tight, this isn’t a passive experience! We’ll call upon members of the audience to be part of the action as we embark on exploring inertia to help explain a classic trick and will spark curiosity, opening eyes to the world around us.
To unravel the power behind rockets, the young adventurers join forces to explore Newton’s 2nd law by firing them with their best stomps. Next, we will unleash our giant slingshot, revealing the forces at play in Newton’s 3rd law.
That’s not all—we’ll delve into the mysteries of gravity and other forces that govern our everyday activities.

3) Gut Feeling Science Show
Uncover the mysteries of the gut in this fun & interactive demonstration. We explore the anatomy & physiology of the digestive system to discover where food goes, and what it meets along the way, and how it leaves the body!
Pupils will meet Amy, our puppet with life sized intestines, and help feed her to see digetsion in action. We’ll reveal how much energy is in our foods with an exciting explosion, and we’ll introduce some of our amazing friendly gut microbes that keep you healthy as some of the baddies! Watch live microbes through our live microscope feed to see how varied and tiny microbes are too!
This one-of-a-kind presentation blends science, fun and hands-on participation to help kids understand that the gut isn’t just a food tube – its a super-powered ecosystem that plays a role in their health & well being.
Turn this assembly into a full science day for all your pupils with biology themed workshops. A fantastic and cost effective educational day. For example, pupils can meet microbes up close through a live microscope demo, they can see how easily bacteria can be transmitted with our engaging activity, play our “Blast a Biofilm” game to understand how microbes protect themselves and find out about our first line of defence by making snot-slime!
The Gut Feeling show is linked to the KS2 curriculum, but KS1 and nursery will enjoy the presentation.

4) The Stolen Gems CSI Show
Oh no!! The gems have gone missing!
Our Forensics Assembly is the perfect way to kick off a day of CSI-inspired science workshops.
In this assembly, we set the scene of a thrilling crime for the students to solve. Volunteers will get the chance to become our main suspects, Peg, Dan, Lou, and Jake, by wearing dress-up props and reading out their alibis. Pupils will listen closely to their statements for clues.
This assembly isn’t a standalone show. It works hand in hand with our Forensic workshops. During the workshops, pupils will use forensic techniques, such as fingerprint analysis, chemical tests, and blood typing, to identify the prime suspect.
This assembly can be delivered to the whole school for an exciting CSI science day or to a specific year group or class taking part in the workshops.
The CSI show will be enjoyed by all ages, but is specifically linked to our forensic science workshops.
These are predominantly for KS2 science, apart from the finger printing which we can differentiate for KS1.

This show can only be taken alongside our CSI workshops, therefore it will be part of our half day or full day rate which ranges from £400 to £600, depending on how many children and how many of us are needed to run the half day / day.

Travel costs will apply depending on your location. Overnight accommodation may apply if you are more than 120 mins drive away from our base in Barnstaple.
