ELECTRO-BOT SCIENCE WORKSHOP
EASTER HOLIDAY 2026
Build Your Own Wacky Moving Vibro-Robot
TIVERTON – EXETER – BIDEFORD – BARNSTAPLE
In this hands-on workshop, children will build their very own motorised vibro-robot by choosing a body part and using a real motor and a simple electrical circuit. Kids then decorate them from our huge selection of crafting goodies to transform it into something weird and wonderful!
They could make a:
shaky dinosaur
buzzing alien
jittery bug
sparkly unicorn
…or a completely bonkers invention of their own!
There are no rules — just creativity, circuits and lots of movement!
What Will Children Learn?
We keep it fun and practical while sneaking in real science – how to build a simple electrical circuit, how a motor makes things move, basic engineering and problem-solving skills, creative design and decorating,
We guide children step-by-step, building confidence as they go.
What’s Included?
All materials provided
Real motor, off centre mass and battery pack
craft supplies
A fully working robot to take home
And yes… it really moves!

Testimonials
Ruth’s science sessions have been wonderful for my children recently and they have all got so much from them. It really brings the fun of science to life for them and makes them enthusiastic about it. So much so that when my daughter had a day at school recently where they had to dress as what they would like to do when they are older she went as a scientist!!Actually we have been so impressed with the sessions that we booked Ruth for my daughters birthday party and the kids all had a ball. Ruth’s enthusiasm for the subject is infectious. I would highly recommend her sessions as well as the birthday parties! They are also amazing value for money.Ellie, Mid Devon

Had a fantastic party today for my son’s 8th birthday. Ruth was brilliant as always; punctual, organised, great with the kids and all the fun experiments had them enthralled from the very start. The party ran very smoothly and Ruth kept everyone busy and entertained. I’ve had messages all afternoon from parents telling me their kids haven’t stopped talking about what a fun time they had! Would definitely recommend!

"My 8 year old has been enjoying science with Sciencedipity for a number of years now. He has thoroughly enjoyed each and every session, be it face-to-face or virtually, and the knowledge that he absorbs via each session never fails to amaze me. Ruth is just fabulous - she makes science accessible, exciting and fun and has certainly ignited a of love of science for my son. I couldn't recommend her sessions more."
